About Us
since 2004
Joyce CoomberSewell brings a wealth of lived experience to everything she does. A mother of three, grandmother of eleven, and great-grandmother. Joyce has built and run three successful businesses over nearly three decades, all while navigating the world as a late-diagnosed autistic woman. Her academic credentials are equally impressive: she holds a BA in Counselling, Coaching and Mentoring and a Masters by Research from Canterbury Christ Church University, and is currently completing a PhD exploring older women's experiences of gaining an autistic diagnoses.
Joyce's understanding of what it means to work hard, communicate clearly, and be truly understood by others is at the heart of what CoomberSewell Training CIC offers.

The Vision
A world where labels are unnecessary, at home, in the workplace, within education or in our minds. But that is a way off yet. In order to get there, we envisage a world where labels are about enabling understanding and support, not putting people in boxes.
